Temanggung District Health Service asked the central centers to take mosquito nets.
Temanggung (ANTARA) - The Health Department of Temanggung Regency in Central Java has urged residents to get rid of mosquito nets (PSN) to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) at the start of the rainy season.
The head of disease prevention and control (P2P) in Temangung Check, the BA, on Sunday, said that the public should check and water the places where there may be mosquitoes, such as bathrooms and living rooms, buckets and other water containers.
“The community must work together to eradicate PSN from all regions to break the transmission cycle of the mosquito that causes dengue,” he said.
He said that the hygiene of the house includes making sure that there are not many hanging clothes, because there is no shelter for mosquitoes in the house, so that the cases of outdoor exposure can be purified, so that the cases of dengue fevertiftit do not survive.
“Being concerned about the cleanliness of the home and environment, the Temanjung Health Office calls on residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle, that is, by regularly checking their health, eating nutritious foods and exercising,” he said.
With these precautions, the number of AED ASOGEPTI asquitos should be protected despite the small number of such cases.
“Cases of DHF may occur as the environment becomes less clean, so everyone should be concerned that PSN can prevent or stop mosquitoes from breeding in the environment through 3M-Plus activity,” he said.
He said that PSN 3M Plus activities are the most appropriate effort to control dengue fever.
